According to the UK News, the 29-year-old officer, who joined the UK Police as a Constable in 2015, is being put into investigation after she was filmed having sex with 31-year-old housemate, Ekpata Gedoni on the show #BBNaija.
The UK Police said Khafi kareem submitted a request to go on a leave to attend the show but her request was not granted yet by the Metropolitan Police
The Met is aware that the officer has since appeared on the show without authority.
“The Directorate of Professional Standards has been informed and will be carrying out an investigation into the circumstances.
The Metropolitan UK Police Force added that any officer found to have go against the police standards of professional behaviour or involved in any act which country tarnished the UK police force could face misconduct proceedings.
One of her colleague in the police force said “She’s serving the British police force” That she asked for permission and when she was denied of going she still went anyway without thinking of the outcome or what it could cause
One of the post on Africa Magic Website stated that Ms Kareem joined the show “to do societal good.”
It reads, Police officer Khafi Kareem believes that you can have it all if you believe in yourself.
She is not only hoping to win the prize money but she wants the exposure that being in the Big Brother Naija House brings, so that she can do societal good
Now the Metropolitan Police Force in the UK are taking this matter serious and doing necessary investigation to make sure a constable who go against the police standards and rules should be ready to face the police judgement
